Founded in 1976, the Club meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Weaver's Cottage, Bacup Road, Rawtenstall at 7.30pm. Anyone interested in the Club or its activities should contact the Secretary, Ian Brady, on Rossendale (01706) 222120, or via e-mail at info@rossendalebird.freeuk.com.

The Club publishes an annual Bird Report. The 2006 issue is available for sale at local libraries and other outlets. Copies of some past reports are available from the Secretary (see above).
